When a young Analyst of just 22 years working in one of the world renowned leading Investment Banker M/s Goldman Sachs dies due to extremely stressed lifestyle then it makes us all to think the pros & cons of the very competitive environment in which we live now. The news of his sudden death on April 16th in San Francisco in parking lot of his building was a shocker for all the colleagues and now the most apparent cause of severe stressful environment is under investigation. A sad end to a very laborious young bud.

What a shame for the society and especially for such high ranked business houses like Goldman Sachs when an employee of theirs says to his father that —

“This job is not for me. Too much work and too little time.”
&
“It is too much. I have not slept for two days.”

Where will this rat race stop and will this competitive world be killing the very existence of the human being. Young recruits when work sometimes 20 hrs a day or 100 hrs a week, it is time to ring the bell in the corporate world. And this is not an isolated case. In the name of work many corporate houses are flouting very basics of the law of nature i.e to keep the peace of mind of an individual.

  1. Around 50% of the working force in offices is stressed beyond doubt and if this new study is correct then we may be heading towards a point of no return. Is there any new hope.
