…the unhauls are a direct response to a constant influx of new material, a stream of books that are pouring into a creators life. Because if they didn’t unhaul, but kept the books coming in, they would soon have to buy a new house because the current one is entirely filled with books.

That’s part of what I want to do with my videos. The existing content I do appreciate but it is often focused on books as individual items, when often what I’m interested in is books as a general topic of thematic discussion, or about the ideas brought about by books and reading habits. This is because this topics can be relevant for a wide variety of readers. Often I feel slightly alienated from popular book content because I don’t always read the top books of the moment - not because of dislike or to make a statement, usually because I just don’t have time or interest - and so the content focusing on reviews or discussion of popular books can leave me a bit in the cold. https://www.crokes.com/activity/p/968868/ Sun, 30 Nov 2025 09:29:04 +1100
