Kilimanjaro National Park, known in Swahili as Hifadhi ya Taifa ya Kilimanjaro, is a protected conservation area located in the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania, near the town of Moshi. The park is internationally recognized for encompassing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak and one of the continent’s most iconic natural landmarks. Established to protect the mountain’s diverse ecosystems and unique biodiversity, the park attracts visitors from around the world for trekking, mountaineering, wildlife observation, and breathtaking scenery. It is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
